Security Officer Patrol Console Operator
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily site operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
- Maintain access control and/or badge systems to help deter unauthorized entry by observing people, vehicles, and/or deliveries at the location.
- Document observations, incidents, and/or unusual activity and communicate needed information to supervisors, clients, and/or local responders.
Requirements
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer and tablet skills.
