About the role
As a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Compliance in Webster, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. This unarmed patrol role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. You will support a welcoming environment through routine observations, reporting, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at a food and beverage production location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
