Security Officer Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as logistics and distribution. This part‑time, unarmed patrol position involves routine patrols, monitoring access points, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and access‑related documentation.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Guard card or license preferred.
• X‑Ray screening experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.00 per hour

Schedule

Daytime – Wednesday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Thursday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
