As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will engage with employees, visitors, and contractors while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time Walk / stand long periods of time Weekly Pay Pay Rate: $15.76 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeThur02:00 PM - 06:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related matters. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
