Security Officer Patrol

About the role

As a Patrol Security Officer in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Utilities. This part-time position offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related matters.
• Stand or walk for long periods of time.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Preferred qualifications: Comfortable using a computer or tablet, access control and badge experience, and prior customer service experience.

Pay

Pay rate: $15.76 per hour.

Schedule

• Thursday: 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Friday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
