As a Security Officer Patrol in Riverside, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
• Schedule: Friday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Saturday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive sales and service location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout showrooms, service areas, parking lots, inventory storage areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
• Support daily location operations by assisting with after-hours checks, monitoring restricted areas, and providing a visible presence during business hours and/or closing procedures.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
