As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting entries, incidents, and observations accurately.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Assist with maintaining orderly vehicle and pedestrian flow around distribution operations while providing a professional presence that helps deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
