About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Orlando, FL, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, facility entrances, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
