Security Officer Patrol and Observation

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with local leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including public areas, entrances, waiting areas, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, disorderly conduct, and/or other security-related concerns within the location.
• Assist with directing foot traffic, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and supporting site operations during busy periods, delays, and/or unusual events.

Requirements

• Security Experience – 1+ Years.
• 21+ Years of Age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21 years for armed roles.
• Must pass a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licenses and certifications may be required based on state and local laws.
