Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol and Deterrence in Compton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule
- Day: Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service within a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, confirm authorized entry when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Support staff, patients, and visitors by offering directions, answering questions, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
