About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Response in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help create a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors while responding to security-related needs with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Maintain detailed daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior to designated contacts.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
