About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Hope, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with occupants and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour
Schedule: Daytime, Monday 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM, Friday 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM, Saturday 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM, Sunday 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report conditions according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, assisting with visitor direction, contractor check-in, and/or enforcement of site access requirements.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
