About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule built using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and retail personnel while following site-specific policies and security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter theft, unauthorized activity, and policy violations.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and security-related incidents, and document activities through clear and accurate reports.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas while assisting with access control and/or crowd management as assigned.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred qualifications:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Pay

$18.83 / hour

Schedule

• Tuesday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thursday: 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM
