Security Officer - Part Time - Weekends

About the role

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part‑Time Security Officer for weekends in Wausau, WI. The role involves serving and safeguarding clients in industries such as food and beverage, providing a visible, unarmed patrol presence, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and report unauthorized activity or suspicious conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security‑related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements required by state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.45 per hour.

Sunday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
