As a Security Officer - Part Time - Weekends in Cedar Rapids, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Dispatch security-related personnel to incidents, service requests, and priority calls; maintain clear communication with field staff, site contacts, and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor radio traffic, alarms, cameras, access-control activity, and other communications systems; document and escalate unusual activity or critical events according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating appropriate notifications and support.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, shift records, and other required documentation while helping to deter unauthorized access and disruptions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.
