Security Officer Part Time Walking Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location. Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations through clear and accurate reports, and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
