As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, professional environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and communicating clearly with employees and guests. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and personal belongings in accordance with site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Verify identification, visitor credentials, and authorization for entry; maintain accurate visitor and screening-related records.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited-item findings, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, and the business perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
• Schedule: Day Time, Mon 05:30 AM - 03:00 PM, Thur 03:00 PM - 12:30 AM
