As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and applicable emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unauthorized access or policy concerns to site leadership.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Guard card is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Qualifications
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Friday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
