DayTime: Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures at a utilities location.
  • Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and access authorization, and maintain accurate visitor records.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, provide general site information, and coordinate visitor notifications with appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points, report unusual activity or access concerns, and help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with established procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following emergency response protocols.

Minimum Requirements

  • Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
