Security Officer - Part Time Visitor Access

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Schedule

DayTimeSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM. This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
