Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Site Inspection

About the role

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and support visitors and tenants with exceptional customer service and communication. This is a part-time position offering flexibility to build a schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious or unusual conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$23.36 / hour

Schedule

• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
