Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and/or facility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking locations, building exteriors, perimeter areas, and access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor vehicle, pedestrian, and contractor access in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Pay Rate: $17.33 / Hour

Schedule: Tuesday and Sunday, 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
