Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical or petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately; follow site requirements for personal protective equipment and restricted-area entry.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Hold a valid driver’s license (required for driving positions only).
