Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Perimeter Inspection

About the role

As a Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report relevant information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and contractor activity in accordance with site policies; provide directions and assistance as needed.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding security-related matters.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
