Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Route Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating issues in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and security‑related activities.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements (required for driving positions).
• Guard card or applicable license preferred.
• State, county, or city‑issued security‑related license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$20.50 per hour

Schedule

• Saturday (Daytime): 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM
