Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Operations

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials when assigned, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting relevant details.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports; communicate observations and shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Pay
$17.20 / Hour
Schedule
- Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
