As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Fire Watch in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour

Job Schedule: Friday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and help support authorized entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the property.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
