Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Compliance

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift changes.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.45 / Hour

• Thursday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Friday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
