You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location by observing visitor, employee, and delivery traffic and reporting unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
