About the role
As a Part-Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Security Officer in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle throughout the property, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial property common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, property concerns, maintenance hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Customer service experience (preferred).
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
