Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Facility Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report observations, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining professional communication and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site requirements.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while communicating relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
