Position Details

Part‑Time Unarmed Exterior Patrol Driver – Lakeland, FL

Pay

$18.96 per hour

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Friday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, common areas, parking facilities, building entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license (required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements).
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
