As an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, assist visitors and tenants, and report security-related concerns. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking lots, garages, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, hazards, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports and daily activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Saturday: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
