About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Response Patrol Security Officer in Atlantic City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vendor activity in accordance with site requirements; report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age (18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

$17.00 / Hour

• Tuesday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Wednesday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
