Security Officer - Part Time TWIC Required

How This Role Works

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or vehicle traffic to help to deter unauthorized entry and support site access procedures.
• Document routine activities, unusual conditions, and/or security-related concerns, and report observations involving equipment areas, inventory locations, or facility operations according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
