As a Part‑Time Security Officer Turnstile Access Monitor in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as retail and malls. The role offers flexibility through the “Claim a Shift” platform, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you while gaining experience in access control at a busy retail distribution location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the distribution center by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Monitor access control systems, report irregularities, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, business operations, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help deter unauthorized access and potential loss by maintaining accurate logs, following site procedures, and communicating observations to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state and/or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Thursday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
