Security Officer Part Time Site Patrol

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer Site Patrol in Albany, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as healthcare. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and opportunities to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support access control, and provide courteous assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control, visitor guidance, and directions while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a positive experience for patients and visitors.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$15.39 / hour

Schedule

• Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
