Security Officer Part Time Site Assessment

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Complete required reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants with criminal histories will be considered consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment per state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
