What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving zones, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor for issues such as theft-related concerns, policy violations, loitering, and/or unauthorized access, then report findings and follow location protocols.
• Support closing and opening routines, assist with access control for restricted areas, and provide a visible presence that helps to deter disruptive behavior in a high-traffic retail environment.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
