As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol campus areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will communicate clearly, report observations, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, studios, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and campus activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report access-control concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities through clear and timely reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and campus contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.00 per hour

Schedule

Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
