Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification and credentials, manage visitor check-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or sensitive areas.
- Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe conditions, report unusual activity, and support security-related operations.
- Document incidents, access exceptions, and daily activities in required reports while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Experience with CPR and First Aid is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Information

Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
