Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies, verifying credentials and directing visitors as needed.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with healthcare personnel, patients, and/or guests while following Allied Universal standards and post instructions.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $24.56 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time - Friday 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Saturday 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Sunday 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
