Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, including verifying credentials and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for Allied Universal and site leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
