Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs for incidents, patrol observations, and security‑related concerns.

Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule

Saturday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Sunday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (overnight shift)
