Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents.
• Support the day-to-day needs of the residential community by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
