Security Officer Part Time Patrol Inspection

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location in Salt Lake City, UT, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, report observations, and deliver exceptional customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, aircraft-adjacent areas, business operations, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific visitor, employee, and contractor procedures.
- Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$21.05 / hour

- Day shifts: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday
