Security Officer Part Time Patrol Emergency Support

As a Part‑Time Security Officer (Patrol Emergency Support) in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as technology, media, and telecommunications. The position is unarmed and focuses on monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery entry in accordance with site procedures; communicate access concerns to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence consistent with Allied Universal standards.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Minimum age: 18 years for unarmed roles (21 years for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

$22.28 per hour

Schedule

• Daytime – Monday: 06:45 AM – 03:15 PM
• Saturday: 02:45 PM – 11:15 PM
