As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activities while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a utility operations location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate activity logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
