Security Officer - Part Time Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Part-Time Patrol Inspection Driver Security Officer in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This role involves conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry as required, and assist with directing drivers, delivery personnel, and visitors according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$19.40 / Hour

• Thursday: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM
• Friday: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM
