Security Officer Part Time Patrol Associate

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces to help uphold post orders, report concerns, and assist with directing visitors and/or contractors according to location protocols.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate pertinent information during shift changes to support consistent security-related coverage.

Requirements

• 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
