About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential condominium community in Miami, FL, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a residential condominium community.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies; verify authorization and direct residents, guests, deliveries, and vendors as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders when required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$16.45 / Hour

• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
